SMP - THE SPRING MENTORING PROGRAM
At The Spring we see ourselves as a town wide church, even as an area wide church. We are in no way parochial or limited by our location or facilities. We are a growing community with a vision to be a church that plants churches that plants churches. We must therefore be a church that has continued and consistent growth. To that end we are ‘a leadership training and releasing church’ and to facilitate this further we have created our Spring Mentoring Program.
In God’s providence we are in possession of a newly refurbished, fantastic three bedroom flat. We are always in need of workers right across the board. Youth workers – Children’s workers- Administrators - Evangelists of every kind – Musicians, you name it.
Together with these obvious opportunities, we find that our fine facilities and challenging church planting vision, when coupled with our dedicated and strong leadership team, always provides opportunities for the right people to come and join us in this work, in this growing vision, in these exciting times. Make no mistake about it, this will be hard work but we believe the most profitable work you could undertake in your life at the moment.
The Spring Mentoring Program is not an off the shelf affair. We thoroughly believe that one size does not fit all and that you are a unique individual in the process of discovering your own real voice. To that end the program will be tailored to your particular needs. In general terms the program will include.
- A role to fulfill!
- Further applicable short term training and or experience with other related bodies.
- Further guided theological study.
- Guidance on your personal spiritual journey.
- Development of your library
- Development of your communication skills.
- Development of your leadership skills.
- Development of your administration skills.
- Development of your C.V.
- One on one spiritual mentoring with the Pastor.
- Regular staff and heads of department accountability meeting.
- WE WILL DISCIPLE YOU – WE WILL TRAIN YOU TO MAKE DISCIPLES!
